Noel Watson

Prior to becoming an Independent Financial Adviser, Noel worked in the City of London on various Investment Banking trading floors. Before that, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Rolls-Royce Aerospace in Bristol.
Noel played rugby before taking up rowing and was lucky enough to compete at Henley Royal Regatta. He is often seen cycling alongside the Wey Navigation.
He is a long-suffering Harlequins season-ticket holder and, in addition to attending most home games, makes an effort to support them on away trips, particularly when the venue is in southern France!
Noel is passionate about improving outcomes for those at or in retirement, and in 2020, he released a book titled 'Planning for Retirement: Your Guide to Financial Freedom' and writes research on the Pyrford Financial Planning blog.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southampton University and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute. He also holds the following designations from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
An adviser's Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) must be renewed annually.
