Claire’s early career started in the City of London with Morgan Stanley in investment banking. She then made the move to investment management and was promoted to the role of Head of Operations & Systems at State Street Global Advisors, where she successfully managed and grew her team from just two personnel to thirty-four over a period of 4 years.
Claire has also worked as a Management Consultant in the City, where she led a review of an investment manager's training program and operational procedures, and also undertook market research on behalf of a well-known financial information provider with regards to the demand for, and development of a fixed income prospecting tool.
Claire has spent the last two decades working in Financial Adviser and Senior Paraplanner roles for both small and large companies, before establishing her own outsourced paraplanning business in 2017.
She was previously a Financial Planner with The Fry Group, where she provided financial planning advice to high net-worth UK resident clients, UK non-residents and those looking to move abroad or seeking a return to the UK. Covering the key areas of Investment, Retirement, Inheritance Tax and Estate planning, providing tax-efficient investment solutions to enable her clients to protect and grow their wealth whilst having consideration for residency and domicile issues. Claire was also on the firm’s Investment Committee.
